Your child's secret diary.
A place to decorate, draw, and write their own story.
With a secret code — it's theirs and theirs alone.
孩子的日記,孩子的秘密基地。
貼貼紙,畫圖畫,記錄今天發生的事。
有專屬密碼。只屬於他們的小天地。
Cantonese, in their own words.
最好的廣東話,是孩子自己寫出來的。
Every story they write is a Cantonese lesson in disguise.
Today we went to the park and I saw a fat pigeon.
It flapped its wings really loud!
Every bilingual child has been there.
Reaching for a word and finding it only in English.
It's not that they don't want to speak Cantonese.
They just haven't had a place to connect the language to their own lives. Yet.
每個雙語孩子都曾經歷過這一刻。
想說 彩虹 ,脫口而出的是 Rainbow。 想說 肚餓 ,想到的卻是 Hungry。
不是不想說廣東話。
只是還沒有一個地方,讓他們把生活裡的點點滴滴,和廣東話連在一起。
當語言和生活有了連結,它就會一點一滴地長出來。
That's where the journey begins.
Pebby Journal is that place.
Your child writes about their day. Pebby helps them find the Cantonese words for it.
Because the best words to learn are the ones they already want to use.
寫今天發生的事,Pebby 告訴你廣東話怎麼說。學到的字,是孩子本來就想說的字。
因為喜歡,所以開始。因為在乎,所以用心。
A place to decorate, draw, and write their own story.
With a secret code — it's theirs and theirs alone.
孩子的日記,孩子的秘密基地。
貼貼紙,畫圖畫,記錄今天發生的事。
有專屬密碼。只屬於他們的小天地。
Write about life. Pick up Cantonese along the way.
No drills. No pressure. Just stories.
寫著寫著,廣東話就來了。
學到的字,往往正是孩子本來就想表達的字。
They started with one word.
Now look how far they've come.
看得見的成長。
每學一個字,就加入他們的字庫。
孩子看著自己會的字愈來愈多,
原來中文沒那麼難。原來自己這麼厲害。
家長也看得見,每一個字,都是成長的痕跡。
See what they learned. Feel how they're doing.
A gentle glimpse into their world.
And sometimes, a little whisper, just for you.
孩子的心情、學到的字、每週的成長,你都看得見。
靜靜地,陪在旁邊。
有時候,還會收到一封孩子寫給你的悄悄話。
Plus Cantonese lessons, flashcards, mini games, and a companion that grows with them.
Mum took me to the pool today.
I jumped in three times!
And I drank too much water 😅
Mood faces, weather stamps, ruled paper. Children write, Pebby listens, and Cantonese arrives gently.
From their own entry. Always one word, always jyutping + sound, always tied to their story.
Streaks, words learned, recent entries. No social feed, no leaderboards — just your child.
Every word your child has met, ready to revisit. Stroke order, jyutping, sample sentence from their own diary.
真正嘅廣東話——唔係課本,係日常。
Pebby finds your child one little Cantonese discovery a day — written-vs-spoken, loanwords, sound words, two-part sayings — and they collect each into a 小發現 book that grows. Tap a card to hear it.
My daughter never finished her Chinese workbook. She's on a 23-day streak with Pebby — because the words are about her day, not a stranger's.
「我個女做唔晒以前嗰本中文簿,但係 Pebby 連續用咗 23 日——因為入面嘅字,係佢自己嘅故事。」
我們愛廣東話,也愛我們的孩子。
We believe Cantonese is worth keeping.
Not because it's useful.
Not because it's part of a curriculum.
But because we love it.
We love the stories it carries.
The memories it holds.
The way a familiar phrase can make us smile, feel at home, or remember where we come from.
我們相信,廣東話值得被留下來。
不是因為它有用。
不是因為它是課程的一部分。
而是因為我們喜歡它。
喜歡它承載的故事。
喜歡它收藏的回憶。
喜歡一句熟悉的廣東話,能讓人會心微笑、感到親切,或想起自己的成長。
So we built one.

And when you love something, you naturally want to share itwith the people you love.
當係真心喜歡一樣東西,自然會想和喜歡的人分享。
Especially your children. But like many families, we couldn't find a place we truly loved where Cantonese felt alive in everyday life.
尤其是自己的孩子。但和很多家庭一樣,我們一直找不到一個真正喜歡的地方,讓廣東話能自然地存在於孩子的生活裡。
Language is more than vocabulary.
It carries memories, builds relationships, and helps us connect with the people around us.
That's why we believe language grows through use, not just study.
Children learn best when language is connected to something they already care about.
A favourite meal.
A family outing.
A funny moment with friends.
A small achievement worth remembering.
When language connects to real life, it becomes meaningful.
And when it becomes meaningful, it becomes their own.
Pebby Journal was created to help children connect language with everyday life.
Children write about their day, their thoughts, and their experiences.
Pebby helps them discover the Cantonese words that belong to those moments.
No endless vocabulary lists.
No pressure.
No trying to recreate the classroom at home.
Just a place where stories become language.
Because the most meaningful words to learn are often the words children already want to say.
Pebby Journal 的誕生,是希望幫助孩子把語言和生活連結起來。
孩子記錄自己的日常、想法和經歷。
Pebby 幫助他們找到屬於那些故事的廣東話。
沒有無止境的生字表。
沒有壓力。
也不是把課堂搬回家。
只是一個讓故事慢慢長成語言的地方。
因為最值得學習的詞語,往往正是孩子本來就想表達的詞語。
One pebble at a time.
一步一腳印。
一本值得打開的日記。
一個你信得過的家長頁面。
用心設計,安心使用。
Pebby is a quiet place. No banners, no ad interruptions. Their attention belongs to their own story.
Parents create profiles, choose the learning language, and reset secret codes anytime.
Diary entries are tied to that child's profile. Used to teach them Cantonese — never shown to anyone else.
Kids 6–12 use the full journal — writing short entries and picking up Cantonese from them. Ages 3–6 use the read-and-listen mode: pictures and sound, no writing required.
Cantonese (廣東話) with jyutping. Whether your family speaks English, Mandarin, or French at home, Pebby fits in — the target is always Cantonese.
Yes. They write in whatever language they have — English, mixed code-switching, anything. Pebby surfaces Cantonese words from the meaning of their entry, not from their characters.
Five to ten minutes. A short entry, one or two new words, a wave to Pebby. That's the whole point.
Never. No ads, no third-party trackers, no data sales. Entries are private to the child's profile and used only to personalise their learning.
我們愛廣東話。
也希望把這份喜歡,分享給下一代。
