We Love Cantonese.We Love Our Children.
我們愛廣東話，也愛我們的孩子。
We believe Cantonese is worth keeping.
Not because it's useful.
Not because it's part of a curriculum.
But because we love it.
We love the stories it carries.
The memories it holds.
The way a familiar phrase can make us smile, feel at home, or remember where we come from.
我們相信，廣東話值得被留下來。
不是因為它有用。
不是因為它是課程的一部分。
而是因為我們喜歡它。
喜歡它承載的故事。
喜歡它收藏的回憶。
喜歡一句熟悉的廣東話，能讓人會心微笑、感到親切，或想起自己的成長。
So we built one.
And when you love something,you naturally want to share itwith the people you love.
當係真心喜歡一樣東西，自然會想和喜歡的人分享。
Especially your children. But like many families, we couldn't find a place we truly loved where Cantonese felt alive in everyday life.
尤其是自己的孩子。但和很多家庭一樣，我們一直找不到一個真正喜歡的地方，讓廣東話能自然地存在於孩子的生活裡。
What We Believe
Language is more than vocabulary.
It carries memories, builds relationships, and helps us connect with the people around us.
That's why we believe language grows through use, not just study.
Children learn best when language is connected to something they already care about.
A favourite meal.
A family outing.
A funny moment with friends.
A small achievement worth remembering.
When language connects to real life, it becomes meaningful.
And when it becomes meaningful, it becomes their own.
語言從來不只是詞彙。
它承載記憶，連結彼此，也幫助我們理解自己來自哪裡。
因此我們相信，語言是在使用中成長，而不只是學習中累積。
當語言與孩子在意的事物產生連結時，學習往往最自然，也最深刻。
一次喜歡的晚餐。
一次家庭旅行。
一次和朋友大笑的時刻。
一件值得記錄的小成就。
當語言連結生活，它才會真正變得有意義。
而當它有了意義，它便會慢慢成為孩子自己的一部分。
Why Pebby Journal
